This year the Miracle Ride Parade starting point will be from the site of the old Connecticut Children’s Hospital in Newington campus.

Departing from Newington, we will begin a “boots up” parade past Connecticut Children’s Medical Center on Washington Street in Hartford, where many of the hospital’s patients will cheer us on as we ride by. We will continue on to Lake Compounce, which again is our end-site for this year’s ride. We hope you will support this great effort and as always, have a safe ride!

Thank you all for your generosity and support. Here is a look at what we plan to purchase with this years donations...
This neonatal transport incubator provides state-of-the-art transportation of neonates in a safe and supportive environment. The infant is able to be monitored at all times for heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure and oxygenation. The infant is also able to receive respiratory assistance as needed; oxygen and ventilator support all within the same unit. This unit can support the most critical baby in transport to the operating room, radiology or transfer to another floor ~ anywhere that infant needs to go. It is an essential piece of equipment in our NICU, especially as we grow and serve a growing population of babies with complex needs and diagnoses.

2007 Miracle Ride
We were able to donate $53,000 to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center
